Last week, as you've probably heard, Japan was rocked by two major earthquakes. The first was a magnitude 6.5 earthquake, and the second was a magnitude 7.3 tremor that shook the island 28 hours later. Officials are still calculating the damage and the official death toll (which currently stands at 48), but needless to say, things are not looking good for the people of Kyushu, which is the country's southernmost island.
